Skull
drill is an important precision instrument commonly used in medical and
scientific research fields, used for skull drilling surgery, which can
provide precise and efficient support for skull drilling surgery. It
consists of a handheld electric drill and drill bits of different sizes.
Mainly used in neurosurgery, neuroscience research, and preclinical
life science experiments to perform brain stereotaxic positioning and
electrode implantation on experimental animals.
Cranial drills are
usually driven by high-speed electric motors, which can quickly and
accurately drill holes. The design and material selection of its drill
bit can ensure good cutting effect and avoid damage to surrounding
tissues. The operation of cranial drill is simple, and doctors or
researchers can choose drill bits of different sizes and shapes
according to their needs, and control the depth and speed of drilling by
adjusting the rotation speed and feed rate of the drill bit.
The
M5202 cranial drilling stereotaxic device allows for cranial drilling in
just one second, with simple operation and easy mastery. Different
types of drill bits can be used for drilling and enlarging the skull of
animals such as mice, cats, and rabbits.
